With the start of the new year, I’ve tried to make some changes into my life. So far so good. This is why I’ve lagged posts on my blog. I apologize for that but to make up for it, I’ve decided to prep you up with a few ideas for one of the most loving days of the year…February 14, Valentine’s Day!

Bubbles Boutique Striped sweater top & jeans for $10
Ross crossbody bow purse
Lola Shoetique “Dirty Talk” heels

If you know me personally, you know that I am a huge, HUGE..Hopeless Romantic. I love believing and trusting that LOVE truly is the cure of anything and everything. That without love, life has no meaning. We learn nothing without love and would never experience the greatest feelings of all. I have to admit, LOVE is my greatest strength but it’s also a weakness. That’s the thrill of love…it’s full of SURPRISES. With every surprise there’s joy and possible pain. But look at the bright side, pain is gain to be better. To gain new lessons. To learn and take advantage of appreciating the little things that surround us in life. So with that said, let’s move on to my first look of LOVE: A Valentines Day Special. Shall we?
Valentines Day, whether you’re single or in a relationship, for most girls means dressing up in the name of LOVE. I know I’m not the only one who thinks like that. So here’s a very casual idea with a tad bit of sexy-ness. This outfit was actually inspired by the infamous “Where’s Waldo?” books that I use to obsessed over as a kid. I clearly remember my mom taking me to the library and a “Where’s Waldo?” book would always come back home with me. I thought it was a perfect outfit ensemble for those ladies who love looking for love in books, movies, people, family and friends.

This outfit has been one of my favorites thus far because it’s chic & comfortable. It’s perfect for a lunch date with your girlfriends or a movie night with your special someone. Needless to say, you don’t have to worry about the tight dresses and the fancy hair-do’s. For accessories, I decided to go with gold accessories laying two different necklaces together that i bought in DTLA alleys for $1 each. The bracelets were from H&M just to add some “arm candy”. Lastly, I really didn’t want to be carrying around my usual black & heavy purse. So to keep the look casual, I just threw on this cross-body purse that I hardly ever use. I thought it would just be a cute little element on the side.

My favorite thing about this whole look has got to be my shoes…No surprise there, right? :) The day I saw these shoes online and in my size, I knew I had to get them. It was a steal or I was about to miss out on a great deal. It was the perfect touch to spice up the outfit. I’m so in love and I know I say that about all my shoes but I really do love all my shoes. I’m a shoe lover. It’s my weakness and my greatest pleasure because they always fit…as long as it’s my size :)

Well there you have look #1. Hope you guys like this casual and super effortless look. Remember, casual doesn’t mean bumming. You can still look good without having to jeopardize your comfort. Till next time my lovies. Have a good night and a beautiful week.
