At the start of Fall, I recall telling you guys that in Los Angeles, we would have about another month of Summer left in October. Guess I hit the jackpot because it has been in the low and high 80s this entire week. Which of course means fresh clothing. This past Wednesday, I re-wore these colorful hammer pants mainly to show you, that investing in bold garments like this one can be worn in many, MANY different ways. I guarantee it will not be one of those “I’m only going to wear it once” type of scenarios. So here’s Part II…It’s hammer time!
-Bubbles Boutique cami & vest
-Pants from FashionStreetLA (coming soon)
-Sandals from Charlotte Russe
-Necklace from DTLA Alleys
So for part II, I wanted to create an outfit that would look as comfy and casual as possible, without understating the pants. For that, I knew denim would be my best friend. Why denim? Because denim brings out that “cool, laid back vibe”. It never fails on an effortless look while still looking trendy…of course, styling it the right way! Like I said, I wanted a casual look without adding anything overwhelming or any more color for that matter. That’s why underneath the denim vest, I went with a white racer-back tank top. I think that was the perfect touch for a clean look.
To complete the look, I wore this big black stone metallic necklace that I found in the alleys for $5. If you can tell in the pictures, the necklace has bronze undertones surrounding the stone and black gems. Which was perfect because I definitely needed a simple accessory to compliment my sandals, since it did have bronze studs. I also did a messy braid just to add more to the look.
So there you have it ladies. If you ever come across a funky piece that you really love, don’t be discouraged by telling yourself that you don’t know what to wear it with. Inspire yourself to take a risk and add a fun item to your closet and everyday style. :) Hope you enjoyed this post! See you tomorrow with our next outfit adventure…Blessings!!! XO-M
